How's everyone doing?
Well, our babies are 5-8 months old!
And I haven't heard from anyone lately! How are you? How are your babies? Pictures? Updates? Stories?

I was pregnant already when Solstice was this age... anyone pregnant? or thinking about it? or dead-set against it?!

What are ya'll doing for your babe's first Halloween? Costumes? Pictures? Just think - last Halloween, we were all pregnant!

Thanks for this. I've been disapointed that this community isn't active.

Hannah is now 7 months old - weighing 16lbs and sitting up very well. No crawling yet, thank goodness. She's a very happy baby. Breastfeeding is going great and she has solids on the weekends, mainly because we don't have time during the week.

We're not dressing up for Halloween this year. To us, it just doesn't make sense this year.

I'd love to be pregnant again, however we need to find a solution to me working from home or being a SAHM before that happens. I will NOT have two children in daycare.

I know! It was really active for a while, but I think that everyone is just really busy since their babies are getting bigger. I am guilty of never updating and rarely commenting. And that sucks because a.) I mod, and b.) I update my personal journal every single day! So, I have no really good excuse.

I think that there are lots of people still reading, though :)

And you guys look beautiful! Is the second picture a 'studio' picture? I always wanted to get professional shots done (both babies) but never got around to it.

Actually no, it was done at my house with a friend who is aspiring to be a photographer. Thank you :)

I'm glad you posted this, too!

Kaylie will be 8 months old on November 6 and I'm guessing she weighs right around 20lbs. She looks very long to me. We have tried measuring her, but can't get her still enough lol. She has been crawling since she was a little over 5 months old and started pulling up about a month later. Now she has taken to cruising the furniture. She's still breastfed and gets solids when we have time, (that sounds awful, but we're just always running around!) usually once a day though.

I would LOVE to have another baby. Sadly, we're still living with my parents, and I would feel like a huge burden (though I know we woulnd't be) if we had two kids living in their house. Whenever we move/build, we're having another baby. I can't wait to do this again. That sounds positively crazy since Kaylie STILL isn't sleeping through the night. Oh well.

Kaylie is going to be a clown for Halloween. My mom is making her costume and it isn't quite finished yet, so I'll post pictures then.

I was a clown on my first HAlloween!
And I totally understand skipping solids - bfing is SO easy (and not messy!)

That's awesome that you already want more. If I didn't have ppd, I would have no regrets about having two so close together... my girls are already getting to be such great friends. It is amazing to watch.

yay. Post pictures! update! I want to see all of these happy babies!

Xavier just turned 6 months Oct 21st! :) I am a fulltime working mom, and still breastfeeding only. He waits while I am at work, and then during lunch hour I breastfeed, and then go back to work and then come home at 6and breastfeed again! :P
Xavier is going to be our last biological child, we think. John is going to be "fixed" soon. :P
Xavier will be a Bee this halloween, and our 5 yr old is going to be Elmo. I will try to post a picture sometime soon. :)
